My little corner of the universe.

About me

I'm Giulia - mother of two, Certified Nutrition Consultant, and a woman still learning what it means to nourish a family.

This is a space where I get to contribute - however small - to a healthier, more vibrant, and consciously empowered world for mothers and their children.

Becoming a mom has deeply changed me.

It opened my eyes to new dimensions, pushed me to research and learn, and taught me to listen closely to my deepest intuitive signals.

But it also made me incredibly vulnerable. It humbled me, softened me, and brought me back to what truly matters — being present, being real, and staying connected to my heart.

Your body knows how to birth a baby. You don't need a course.

"Well, thanks, lady," I thought. Turns out she was right.

I wasn't always "perfect".

My first pregnancy ended in an emergency C-section after a GBS strep diagnosis I hadn't seen coming. My second was the opposite  natural, unmedicated, and deeply peaceful

I know what it's like to be in the NICU, and I know what it's like to come home with a newborn feeling calm and prepared.

There were moments I asked myself the question every mother knows: could I have done something differently to be more prepared the first time?

I don't share this for sympathy. I share it because the mothers I work with rarely arrive with clean, tidy stories either. And I think that matters

A few things about me

The parts that don't fit in a bio.

Italy → Belgium → Denmark

I've mothered across three countries — and learned that food carries a culture even when you don't.

My grandmother reached 95

Cooking everything from scratch, moving every day, and never once counting a macro. That's the wisdom I try to translate.

Modern science + ancient wisdom

Certified through OBN — the only organization specializing in maternal health — because both parts matter.

I found my way not through perfection  but through listening.

For years I chased the "right" way to eat - strict, rigid, sometimes dogmatic. Vegan phases. Raw food phases. Detoxes I now cringe at.

Then pregnancy stopped me in my tracks. My body needed something different from what any framework had told me. I started listening. Really listening. And that's how I found nutrition - not as a set of rules, but as a conversation with the body.

That's the same conversation I now help other mothers have with themselves.
